West Kowloon Cultural District Art Park | 'Merry Balloon Hong Kong' Event Postponed 'Merry Balloon Park' Lands at West Kowloon Art Park Lawn from 16 December 2025

 In light of the fire that took place in Tai Po last month, the 'Merry Balloon Hong Kong' team expresses their deepest concern and sends their sincere condolences to all the families, citizens, and rescue personnel affected by the incident. We firmly believe that during difficult times like these, we need to support and accompany each other, and hence the decision to postpone the 'Merry Balloon Hong Kong' event. We look forward to adjusting our pace, cheering each other on, and hope to bring support and strength to everyone through various activities.

The 'Merry Balloon Park' – a gigantic dream-like inflatable playground, originally scheduled to open on 6 December 2025, will now be held from 16 December 2025 to 11 January 2026 at the West Kowloon Art Park Lawn. For those who have purchased tickets for the period of 6 to 15 December, we have arranged for refunds and will be in touch.

In addition, the 'Merry Balloon Hong Kong' pop-up store will also extend its opening until 11 January 2026, and all proceeds from the sales of related merchandise, without any cost deductions, will be donated to the 'Yan Chai Emergency Relief Fund', hoping to bring some support and comfort to the affected residents.

Mr. Tse Yuk, founder and CEO of MakeItLoud, the event organizer, said, 'At this moment, we hope to express our care through actions and bring warmth and strength to everyone through 'Merry Balloon Hong Kong'. We wish that everyone participating in the event can relax a little under this balloon-filled sky and feel that someone is always by their side.'

Lastly, the grand finale of 'Merry Balloon Hong Kong' will be the first-ever large-scale IP character balloon parade in Hong Kong, 'Merry Balloon Parade', which will take place on 11 January 2026!

'Merry Balloon Hong Kong' will illuminate the entire city with dreamy balloons, sparkling lights, and creative arts. We invite all Hong Kong citizens and travelers to step into a dream-like balloon world, explore the city's creative charm, and feel the positive energy that belongs to Hong Kong!
